Dawid Paduszyński - artist statement

Dawid Paduszynski is a photographer/cinematographer based in the Northeast of England. His practice in photography is based around nature and story-based narratives revolving around paranormal activities. Dawid Mostly chooses to practice using 35mm and 120mm film, reflecting his attempts in trying to replicate reality through usually unnatural means. Dawid believes that photographic reality and reality itself don’t reflect each other at all and therefore should be separate. In his video related works, he attempts to create visuals that aren’t only compelling but also tell stories through subtlety. Now with Dawid finishing his photographic studies he’s moving onto different endeavours in the world of film and visual artistry, and although he is still learning. He truly has great potential.
